Fumi Manjoume, shy and soft-spoken, and Akira Okudaira, outgoing and kind, were closest friends in elementary school, but that changed when Fumi and her family moved away. Fumi returns to her hometown after being accepted to Matsuoka Girls' High School years later. She meets up with Akira, who will be attending Fujigatani Girls' Academy. Their connection isn't the same now as it was years ago, despite their reunion.
