All Shuichi had ever wanted to do was follow in the footsteps of his idol, Ryuichi Sakuma, and the band Nittle Grasper. Shuichi has created a band called Bad Luck with his closest friend Hiro, and they've even gotten signed to a major record company! Unfortunately, the studio deadlines are approaching, and Shuichi has yet to complete the lyrics for any of the tracks. What he requires is some motivation... But he's been running a bit low on that recently. While Hiro advises him to find a girlfriend, fate has other plans for him... Shuichi's newest lyrics fly away as he walks across the park late one night, landing at the feet of a lovely stranger who steals his breath away. Unfortunately, that enigmatic stranger happens to be the famous novelist Eiri Yuki, who completely crushes the young singer by telling him he has "zero talent". Now, Shuichi's so annoyed that he's managed to finish his song just so he can find and confront Yuki once again. But, are his actions really motivated by anger, or has he actually fallen in love?
