Tensions are high among the clans as the Green King begins to make moves that threaten to bring the planet to its knees. Following the death of the Gold King, the safety of the Dresden Slate, the Kings' source of power, is jeopardized. Nagare Hisui, the crafty and mysterious head of the Green Clan Jungle, is hellbent on obtaining the mighty Slate by any means necessary. Sceptre 4, the Blue Clan, led by their uncompromising King, Reisi Munakata, stands right in his path. The bleak sight of his collapsing Sword of Damocles, on the other hand, puts the stability of his clan and all of Japan in peril. Meanwhile, Anna Kushina and her violent clan HOMRA are still reeling from their horrific deaths.
