The plot revolves around a mystery towering structure constructed from a (unstable) stack of building bricks. An elderly timekeeper rings the bell in the tower every morning, noon, and evening to affirm the time for the locals. However, one day at noon, the tower bell does not ring, leaving the inhabitants perplexed as to when they should have lunch. The fantasy adventure begins when Karl, a curious village lad, decides to travel to the tower's plaza to find out what's going on.
