Shinobu Oomiya once traveled to England to engage in a homestay. During her stay, she made good friends with Alice Cartelet, the daughter of the family with whom she was staying. However, when it came time for Shinobu to depart to Japan, despite the language barrier, the two were able to communicate their grief. Shinobu, now a first-year high school student, receives a letter through air mail in a language she does not understand five years later. This letter was written by Alice, and it details her personal homestay in Japan. Alice will, in fact, be attending Shinobu's high school and living with her! The five girls go to school with their pals Youko Inokuma, Aya Komichi, and Karen Kujou.
