Kirari Tsukishima, a gluttonous 14-year-old beauty, is a girl who is uninterested in idols and the entertainment business because her attention is preoccupied with food. Her fixation with eating causes her to be oblivious to love. Kirari meets a lovely and sweet lad called Seiji one day after saving a turtle that has become stuck in a tree, and he offers her a ticket to a SHIPS (a prominent idol group) performance to express his thanks for saving his pet. Kirari then rushes off to the performance, where she encounters another kid who tears up her ticket and urges her to stay away from Seiji since they live in separate worlds. Kirari, enraged, then sneaks into the event, only to discover that Seiji and the boy who tore her ticket, named Hiroto, are actually members of SHIPS.
