Natsuo Maki, student council president at Fujisaki Ladies Academy, is the pinnacle of grace and beauty, admired by all the young girls that attend the school. Riko Kurahashi enters into the student council room on an errand one day, only to find Natsuo practicing her kissing methods on a cushion, a not-so-gentle and elegant gesture. Riko quickly realizes that Natsuo craves more romance in her life, prompting her to secretly rehearse "romantic settings." Riko decides to assist Natsuo with her love studies since she sympathizes with her. The initiative, dubbed "Love Lab," focuses on the fundamentals of love and romance, such as "accidentally" bumping into each other and holding hands. The whole student council quickly joins in on the excitement at the Love Lab.
