Hina Satou, a 13-year-old from Miyagi Prefecture, enjoys figure skating and lives in a port town. She and her father are presently living in temporary accommodation after losing their mother in the 2011 earthquake. The happy Hina continues to progress toward her dreams, despite tragic recollections of the disaster and memories of a caring mother.
