The Straw Hat Pirates set sail towards the New World in quest of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger-One Piece's secret treasures. On their journey, the pirates meet across retired Marine Admiral Z, a scary and powerful man. Z is suspected of stealing the "Dyna Stones," weapons thought to have the potential to rock the New World. The Marine Headquarters believes Z is ready to use it to bring an end to the pirate age and, with it, many innocent lives. Fearing such a spectacular incident, marines begin to take action against the former admiral.
