The plot is set in the future, in the city of Akihabara. It was originally known as the "Holy Land of otaku," but it has now evolved into an office town. People are losing their memories of anime and manga, and just a few speciality businesses remain operating. People's minds contain "memories" of manga and anime, but when the universe of creative works is destroyed by a virus, it vanishes from everyone's memory and is deleted from the material world. 12 girls working in a little shop in a corner of Akihabara are fighting the virus in order to safeguard everyone's precious memories of their favorite manga and anime, and to restore Akihabara to its former glory!
