Jun, who has recovered from his childhood school trauma, now attends college and works at a bookshop. He does not, however, feel as though he belongs anyplace. One day, he discovers a book with directions for creating a Rozen Maiden. Surprisingly, when he returns home that night, the second volume in the book series, as well as some doll components, has been brought to his house.
