A young man called Seiya traveled to Greece to learn to become a Saint and acquired the Cloth, Bronze Cloth, the lowest status among Saints. Every Saint chooses a constellation to serve as their tutelary deity. Pegasus is Seiya's guardian star. Saints from all around the world have gathered to compete in the "Galatic War," a Saints tournament aimed at capturing the Gold Cloth, the Saints' ruler's insignia. Galatic War's curtain has been raised. During the Saints' death struggle, Phoenix, the Black Saint, unexpectedly appears on the scene and flees with Gold Cloth in front of the Saints.
