A long time ago, on a planet that may have been named "Earth," there was a fight between warriors who had mechanized their bodies. People had a brief period of tranquility following the lengthy conflict. Faced with famine and abductions at the hands of deadly mechanized bandits (Nobuseri), the farmers of Kanna Village take the risky step of hiring samurai for protection. Kirara, the village's water priestess, Komachi, and Rikichi, a devastated peasant, set out to enlist willing samurai with nothing to give but rice from their pitiful crops. Seven samurai of various specialities and experience are recruited via perilous encounters and a little of luck for an epic battle against the robbers and merchants who influence them.
