Youko Nishikawa struggles to discard her princess-like attitude and establish friends at her all-girls high school after going from privileged to penniless due to the bankruptcy of her father's firm. She meets Futaba Odagiri, the super-energetic transfer student, and Teru Hayama, an innocent-looking girl with a shockingly direct and often cruel demeanor, while dining alone in a neighboring forest one day. Despite their disparate personalities, three girls with the kanji for "leaf" in their names form an unexpected bond as they attempt to navigate the humorous and spontaneous adventure that is high school life.
